Many species of endophytic Fungi can synthesize paclitexel (mitotic inhibitor) used in cancer chemotherapy. It was discovered in a US National cancer institute. Grisofulvin, Taxoil, Vinblastin share the same anti cancer mechanism, inhibition microtubule activity causing a halt in cell division at mitosis. 4. Cordyceps sinensis :

Cordyceps is a genus Ascomycete fungi that includes about 400 species. The best known species of the genus is cordyceps sinensis first recordeded as yartsa gunbu in Tibet in the 15th century. English commonly known as caterpillar fungus is considered a medicinal mushroom in oriental medicine such as traditional Chinese medicine. Some cordyceps species are source of biochemical’s with interesting biological and pharmacological properties like cyclosporine a drug. Cordycepin is derivatives of the nucleoside adenosine. It can participate in certain biochemical reaction .Be incorporated into an RNA molecule thus causing the premature termination of its synthesis which has anticancer activities. C. sinensis has been used to protect bone marrow.

5. Black pepper: 

Black pepper was believed to cure illness such as constipation .diarrhea, earache, gangrene, heart disease, hernia, indigestion, insect bites, lung disease.insomnnia,join pain,liver,oral abscesses, sun burn, tooth decay and toothaches. Piperine a substance present in black pepper irritates the nostrils, causing the sneezing. It has been shown that the piperine can dramatically increase absorption of selenium, vit-B , Beta carotene. Black pepper is widely used in traditional Indian medicine. Extract from black pepper have been found to have antioxidant properties and anti carcinogenic. Febrifuge is common antipyretic which are used as fever reducer .anti-inflammatory and pain reliever. 8. Kayu secang :

Kayu secang increases sexual stamina for man, tighten the vagina for woman. It can help elimination of physical sores; facilitate menstruation, elimination of stiffness, lower cholesterol, dizziness ,lowering blood colesterol, improving blood circulation, warming the body. Increasing breast milk.
